Jeff Osborn, Chair
Jeff is the co-founder of Gimkit, an EdTech company that makes learning memorable. From Gimkit to SFYC and other volunteer work, Jeff is dedicated to building a better future for young people and helping them develop the tools they need to succeed. He holds a BA in English from Western Washington University.
Virgil Alonso, Vice Chair
Virgil utilizes his experience in digital, social, and event marketing along with his sales and operations experience to positively impact the growth, revenue, and brand sentiment of entrepreneurial organizations.
Sharon A. Rivera, Treasurer
Dr. Sharon Rivera earned her B.S. in chemistry from SUNY Purchase College in NY in 2003 and her Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Syracuse University in 2008. An advocate for equity, inclusion, opportunity, and access in science and education, Sharon provides support to produce life-changing medicines as a Project Manager at AGC Biologics in Seattle, WA.
Patrick Leonard, Secretary
Patrick bike commutes from West Seattle to Amazon where he is working to power the company with 100% renewable energy. Patrick accelerates change by planning, embedding and implementing sustainability strategies across organizations. Prior to Amazon he worked for Starbucks and T-Mobile. He holds an MS in Energy Management from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, England.
